Doom to Bloom™
The 30-Day 1:1 Collapse Companioning™ Experience for Women
Doom to Bloom™ offers a companioning process for navigating through anxiety, grief, anger, and a deep longing for a way to live fully and joyfully despite the chaos.
Collapse Companioning™ is rooted in presence and lived experience rather than expertise.
Instead of diagnosing or directing, we sit with one another, acknowledging what’s real, what´s ridiculous, and what´s doable.
Every day, for 30 days, I walk beside you (virtually) as you translate awareness into grounded presence, daily choices, and creative actions.
We talk. We notice. We experiment. We laugh.
We engage in the joyful dance of re-membering our connection to all life.
If therapy asks, “Where does it hurt?”
and coaching asks, “Where do you want to go?”
Collapse Companioning™ asks:
“How can we walk through this chaos together without losing our damn minds?”
andc
"How can we offer creativity, care, and collaboration in life-giving ways?"
🌿I WORK WITH WOMEN WHO:
🔸see systems failing and refuse to look away
🔸feel the despair but still want a life that celebrates joy
🔸want to do something small and real instead of actions that feel hollow or pointless
We may be a good fit if you are:
-
feeling loss—but longing for lightness
-
ready to stay awake—without burning out or shutting down
-
curious about what´s possible—and open to exploring new perspectives
- excited to get creative—and use it for good
You do not need to know what's next.
You just need to be ready to move through it with curiosity and awareness.
¨I needed a reminder of the beauty of being human. Maya offered me a lifeline.
I finally left my toxic job and moved to my favorite small city. I have great new collapse-aware friends, work that fulfills me, and a simple home that feels like an oasis. Joy shows up constantly.
Every day of working with Maya was a gift. She has a big heart and offered an inspiring been-there presence that changed my life.¨
Sheela - former executive assistant, now director of a youth empowerment organization
"I was devastated by what was happening, but I felt paralyzed. I have plenty of skills, but it seemed like they no longer made sense or were helpful.
With Maya's help, I was able to see that I could use my abilities in new ways to help my local community build stronger connections.
I have loving relationships with neighbors I barely spoke with before. I am amazed by how much more energy I have, and how much I laugh! Before, my joy was experienced quietly, and mostly alone. Now, it's shared out loud with a wonderful group of people I have come to love."
Lana - former marketing director, now founder of a community organization
🌿WHAT I BRING
Presence, playfulness, and potent prompts for imagination.
My work is shaped by my:
🔸decades of transforming my own grief into creative energy
🔸profound recognition of our future collapse 40 years ago
🔸deep experience helping hundreds of women in 20+ countries face their personal/existential crises
🔸early exposure to Joanna Macy's "despair work" (which later became the guiding principles of The Work That Reconnects)
🔸resonance with Dr. Alan Wolfert's committed work of "companioning" those facing their grief over the loss of a loved one
🔸training as a creative breakthrough coach, mediator, trauma-informed facilitator, and imaginative futurist
🔸roles as an artist, educator, and activist in multiple countries
🔸50 years of mindfulness practice
I know from extensive experience that:
Grief moves when it’s witnessed.
Energy returns when it’s focused.
Agency grows when it’s shared.
🌿WHY THIS WORKS
Collapse awareness is not an intellectual problem.
It’s a relational one.
You don’t need more data.
You need some a firm but forgiving way to hold what you already know.
Like the marigolds that protect what grows beside them, we can remain rooted as we face adversity and build solidarity right where we are.
🌿WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITH
By the end of 30 days, you won’t have a five-year plan. (Those are no longer relevant.)
You will have:
• steadier nerves
• clearer language
• a deeper relationship with your own instincts
• a few visible actions in the world
• a renewed sense of agency
• and a practice of choosing how you respond
You will know:
🔸what helps
🔸what drains
🔸what matters
🔸what you’re willing to protect
You’ll feel less alone with what you see,
and more capable of living fully inside it.
¨Maya´s voice chats were like having an inspiring collapse buddy in my pocket! I feel so much lighter, even with all that is happening. I have new rituals and tools that energize me daily. I am a much more conscious leader for my team, and we are actively creating our community programs with deeper awareness of likely scenarios and the need for connection and care.¨

🌿FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this therapy?
No. I am not a therapist, and this is not clinical or diagnostic work.
This is creative companioning related to the complex swirl of emotions around the realities of this time. It’s relational, reflective, and practical — but not medical or psychological treatment.
Think:
conversation, not pathology
practice, not prescriptions
meaning, not symptom management
If you are in acute crisis, this is not the right container for you, but I can help you find one.
So, is it coaching?
Not in the “optimize your goals and crush your KPIs” sense.
We don’t work toward performance.
We work toward presence, agency, and aliveness in unstable conditions.
We walk together to help you live honestly inside the world you’re in, and look at where you might choose to go next--personally, professionally, and in terms of place.
Is this political?
It’s not party-based. It’s reality-based.
I don’t tell you what to think.
I help you stay human in your thinking while systems strain.
If you are looking for conversation about politics, this isn’t that.
But it can help you stay awake to all that is happening with a greater sense of calm and more creative responses.
Do I need to agree with you about "collapse"?
You don’t have to use my language.
You just have to be willing to notice what you are noticing.
If you feel like “something is off,”
if the future feels shakier than it used to,
if pretending everything is fine feels exhausting,
that’s enough common ground.
What if I'm already doing a LOT?
Then this work can help you do less, better.
We don’t add more tasks.
Instead, we clarify what actually matters.
Many women come in overextended, overinformed, and under-resourced.
The work becomes about focus, boundaries, and meaning — not doing more.
Will this make me feel better?
Relief is a side effect of engaging in this companioning process, not the point of the work.
We focus on ways to feel:
• more regulated
• more capable
• less alone
• less powerless
What if I'm afraid of getting more anxious?
That’s totally understandable in these times.
But this work does not push you into panic.
We move at nervous-system speed, not internet speed.
We name what’s happening without sensationalizing it.
We build steadiness before we build action.
You don’t have to “handle everything.”
You just have to stay in the room with yourself and breathe through the hard parts.
What if I feel like I want more companioning after our 30-day period is over?
Some clients, especially those who choose to expand their initial actions or start an organization, seek additional companioning during that process.
I offer the Intuitive Integration series, which is another 30 days of support via rounds of text/voice/video messages three times a week, with a follow-up 30-minute video conversation. The price is US$250. (Price increase from June 1, 2026)
Also, some clients do another Doom to Bloom™ series several months or even years later to elevate their community work and deepen their personal resilience.
And others may choose to work with me on a monthly or project-focused basis. All of these options are available.
Do you offer various pricing levels?
I strive to keep my pricing as accessible as possible, but I do not offer lower-priced options for the Doom to Bloom™ series at this time. If you would like to apply for one of my occasional no-fee offers, please send me a message.
Please note:
Every client is unique. Each individual brings her own past and present experience, her particular concerns, and her own perspective.
We start where you are, and address the concerns and longings you share with me.
For some, that means more time spent on nervous system regulation than actions.
For others, the focus is on connecting more deeply with our reality and building a strong community of mutual aid.
In our initial conversation, we talk about all of this, and throughout our 30 days together, you can always ask for more focus on a particular area.
If you´re looking for skilled companioning as you clarify and address a collapse-related challenge, such as:
◾ focusing the energy of your emotions in ways that enliven you
◾ initiating a collapse conversation with loved ones, neighbors, or those you work with
◾ creating your own program to address collapse-related issues in your community
◾ crafting the creative adaptation practices that will help you handle new challenges
◾ designing a U.S. exit plan (or at least, a Plan B)
◾ organizing a group or action to inspire solidarity in your community
or any combination of these,
Doom to Bloom™ is designed to help you clearly see what is pulling you forward and turn your intention into action.

¨I didn´t know what to expect in this companioning process, but it felt like the most natural help I have ever received. Thoughtful, sometimes probing, sometimes hilarious. Everything I do now feels more intentional, without the indecision or the drama.
Maya was a loving daily presence in my life for those miraculous 30 days together. I cannot recommend her and the Doom to Bloom process highly enough.¨
Paula - project manager
¨Maya offered outstanding guidance in starting a collapse conversation with my clients. It was like opening a door. It shifted the focus, leading to more future-aware ways of working together.
I feel relieved and empowered now that I know how to broach the subject. The knot in my stomach is gone, and I am feeling real joy in my work now.¨
Denise - business consultant
¨Maya saved me from making some serious (and expensive!) mistakes in my plan to move abroad. Her experience living in many countries and her ability to introduce me to others living where I was considering moving have made my process simple and fun. I highly recommend talking with her before even thinking about leaving the U.S.¨
