Here´s the latest!

June 2025:
I´m turning 65 this month - and not afraid to say it!
And always happy to share a birth-day with Sir Paul McCartney.
I feel so grateful for my loving family, my new life in Amsterdam (as of April 2025), and my ongoing opportunity to help others adapt creatively and joyfully in this less-than-joyful time.
Things I´m loving right now:
1) Being back in the Northern Hemisphere after years in the Global South. My personal calendar and compass have been reset. The sun is in the north! No more hot summer Christmases!
2) Having not one but TWO parks within three blocks of our apartment. One is a long forest with trails. It is thrilling to be once again surrounded by elderberry blossoms, wild strawberries, nettles, woodruff, and other plants that thrived in the woods where I grew up in Oregon.
3) Access to so many great museums. We´ve made a pact to visit at least one museum a week for a year, and my heart and mind are happy. Recent faves: the history of the canals, and the Amsterdam School of architecture that was committed to making public housing beautiful and inspiring.
4) The small plazas and tiny parks between the apartment buildings (all under five stories and facing said plazas/parks). It makes for a friendly neighborhood design and vibe that feels communal and convivial.
5) I´m experimenting with hydroponics, starting with herbs on my kitchen window sill, and seeing what works. I figure that with plentiful water here from rain and canals, it´s useful to learn what/how I can grow using just water and a simple kitchen concoction of nutrients.
What´s new in my work:
Collapse Forward - my latest offering - is all about helping women leaders in business or non-profit organizations start a conversation about collapse at work.
During the last month, I worked with two women in the U.S. as they considered, designed, initiated, and facilitated their first planned collapse conversation with their selected leaders and/or employees.
It felt terrifying and risky for both of them in the beginning.
But the rewards? Incalculable.
Because if you do it right, it goes deep and is fully embraced.
Solidarity. Renewed commitment.
And clarity about how to not only face the future but consciously and actively prepare for it in ways that feel aligned and collaborative.
I´m loving this...and leaning into it. Please reach out if you or someone you know would be interested in this transformative approach to dealing with reality at work.
I´m always happy to hear from you!
