Doom to Bloom

A 30-Day Companioning Experience for Collapse-Aware Women

Doom to Bloom™ is a side-by-side collapse companioning process of navigating through anxiety, grief, anger, uncertainty, and a deep longing for a rich and fulfilling way forward despite the chaos.

Companioning is rooted in presence rather than expertise.

Instead of diagnosing or directing, we sit with one another, acknowledging what’s real, what´s ridiculous, and what´s doable.

For 30 days, I walk beside you as you translate awareness into daily choices, creative acts, and grounded presence.

We talk. We notice. We experiment. We laugh.
We make meaning where meaning feels endangered.

Not because everything is fine.
But because you refuse to pretend, numb out, or disappear.

You’re paying attention.

But paying attention can be exhausting.

You hold grief.
You hold anger.
You hold questions with no clear answers.

And somewhere in there is a quiet, stubborn instinct:
I still want to live in a way that deeply engages me and those I love.

Doom to Bloom exists to lovingly support that instinct.

If therapy asks, “Where does it hurt?”
and coaching asks, “Where do you want to go?”
companioning asks:

“How can we walk through this chaos together without losing our damn minds?”

🌿I WORK WITH WOMEN WHO:

• see systems failing and refuse to look away
• feel grief and urgency and still want a vivid life
• are allergic to platitudes
• are tired of pretending everything is fine
• want to do something small and real instead of nothing or actions that feels hollow or pointless

We may be a good fit if you are:

  • feeling loss—but longing for lightness

  • ready to stay awake—without burning out or shutting down

  • curious about what´s possible— and open to exploring new perspectives

  • excited to get creative—and use it for good

You do not need to know what's next.
You just need to be ready to move through it with awareness.

¨I needed a reminder of the beauty of being human. Maya offered me a lifeline.

I finally left my toxic job and moved to my favorite small city. I have great new collapse-aware friends, work that fulfills me, and a simple home that feels like an oasis. Joy shows up constantly.

Every day of working with Maya was a gift. She has a big heart and offered an inspiring been-there presence that changed my life.¨

Sheela - former executive assistant, now director of a youth empowerment organization

"I was devastated by what was happening, but I felt paralyzed. I have plenty of skills, but it seemed like they no longer made sense or were helpful.

With Maya's help, I was able to see that I could use my abilities in new ways to help my local community build stronger connections.

I have deeper roots now, and loving relationships with neighbors I barely spoke with before. I am amazed by how much more energy I have, and how much I laugh! Before, my joy was experienced quietly, and mostly alone. Now, it's shared out loud with a wonderful group of people I have come to love."

Lana - former marketing director, now founder of a community organization

🌿WHAT I BRING

I bring presence and playfulness.

My work is shaped by my:

  • decades of transforming my own deep grief into creative energy

  • life-long fascination with psychology and behavior change

  • training as a creative breakthrough coach, mediator, and trauma-informed facilitator

  • roles as an artist, educator, adaptation activist, and imaginative futurist

  • 50 years of mindfulness practice
  • full embrace of our capacity for creativity and joy
  • and my deep experience helping over 200 women in 20+ countries turn their despair into loving action in their communities

I know from extensive experience that:

Grief moves when it’s witnessed.
Energy returns when it’s focused.
Agency grows when it’s shared.

🌿WHY THIS WORKS

Because collapse awareness is not an intellectual problem.
It’s a relational one.

You don’t need more data.
You need somewhere to put what you already know.

Small actions create momentum.
Companionship makes courage contagious.

Marigolds protect what grows beside them.
That’s our model.

🌿WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITH

By the end of 30 days, you won’t have a five-year plan.

You will have:
• steadier nerves
• clearer language
• a deeper relationship with your own instincts
• a few small, visible actions in the world
• a renewed sense of agency
• and a lived experience of choosing how you respond

You will know:
what helps
what drains
what matters
what you’re willing to protect

You’ll feel less alone with what you see,
and more capable of living fully inside it.

¨Maya´s voice chats were like having an inspiring collapse buddy in my pocket! I feel so much lighter, even with all that is happening. I have new rituals and tools that energize me daily. I am a much more conscious leader for my team, and we are actively creating our community programs with deeper awareness of likely scenarios and the need for connection and care.¨

Some days are quietly catalytic.

You don’t have to perform.

You just have to show up.

It is not:
• therapy
• coaching
• motivational hype
• political marching orders
• “everything will be okay” energy

This is lived practice for uncertain times.

🌿FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this therapy?

No. I am not a therapist, and this is not clinical or diagnostic work.

This is creative companioning. It’s relational, reflective, and practical — but not medical or psychological treatment.

Think:
conversation, not pathology
practice, not prescriptions
meaning, not symptom management

If you are in acute crisis, this is not the right container for that. I can help you find one.

So, is it coaching?

Not in the “optimize your goals and crush your KPIs” sense.

We don’t work toward performance.
We work toward presence, agency, and aliveness in unstable conditions.

Sometimes that leads to clearer decisions.
Sometimes it leads to a smaller life with more meaning.
Sometimes it leads to very unexpected next steps.

We walk together to help you live honestly inside the world you’re in, and look at where you might choose to go next--personally, professionally, and in terms of place.

Is this political?

It’s not party-based. It’s reality-based.

I don’t tell you what to think.
I help you stay human in your thinking while systems strain.

If you are looking for conversation about politics, this isn’t that.
But it can help you stay awake to all that is happening with a greater sense of calm and more creative responses.

Do I need to agree with you about "collapse"?

You don’t have to use my language.
You just have to be willing to notice what you are noticing.

If you feel like “something is off,”
if the future feels shakier than it used to,
if pretending everything is fine feels exhausting,

that’s enough common ground.

What if I'm already doing a lot?

Then this work usually helps you do less, better.

We don’t add more tasks.
We clarify what actually matters.

Many women come in overextended, overinformed, and under-resourced.
The work becomes about focus, boundaries, and meaning — not doing more.

WIll this make me feel better?
Usually. But that’s not the primary goal.

The goal is:
• to feel more real
• to feel more capable
• to feel less alone
• to have somewhere for your creative awareness to go

Relief is a side effect of being accompanied, not the point of the work.

What if I'm scared of getting more anxious?

That’s reasonable in these times.

But this work does not push you into panic.
We move at nervous-system speed, not internet speed.

We name what’s happening without sensationalizing it.
We build steadiness before we build action.

You don’t have to “handle everything.”
You just have to stay in the room with yourself.
