Why FREE?
I am dedicated to supporting those who are doing the important work of protecting our planet in the face of increasing challenges.
I do not charge for my work with individual climate workers struggling with anxiety related to the polycrisis.
I know that´s unusual, and may make you doubt the value of what I do.
But I have made a shift in my own thinking about who I want to help and why, thanks to my years of doing pro bono work.
So, in addition to collaborating with collapse-aware innovators and groups, I help individuals doing climate-related work move from crisis anxiety through collapse awareness to optimistic eyes-wide-open resolve at NO COST.
PLEASE NOTE: I am fully booked until March 2025.
My pro bono work is part of my commitment to investing in inclusivity and access for this critical transition.
I am uniquely positioned to be a part of the inner development required for this transition due to:
🟦 my work helping 100+ individuals overcome their grief in order to thrive in new ways, and
🟦 my own life experience rebounding from grief and loss
If you don´t have the funds to pay for counseling, but feel you could benefit from support and mentorship to help you realign yourself with your mission in more realistic yet upbeat ways, please reach out.
Just tell me about you and your struggle.
It´s that simple.
Testimonials from recent clients:
¨I was already struggling with my new business before the election. Afterward, I found it impossible to imagine a positive future.
Maya worked with me every day for two weeks. I have to say that I not only have new energy for my business, but I have a clearer sense of where to focus that energy.
I know things are going to get harder, but Maya helped me do the inner work of settling into uncertainty without feeling helpless. I feel ready and able to tackle whatever comes next.¨
J. - owner of a regenerative farming start-up in the US
¨The news just kept getting worse day by day. COP29 made me recognize that we may not be able to avoid a collapse. I spent days in bed, unable to function.
Maya responded immediately to my request. She helped me reach a level of acceptance that could work for me. After a day (in bed) of back-and-forth conversation with her, I started feeling able to cope.
Grief and anger? Still there when I read the news.
But I face each day with a new reality-based commitment to building resilience in myself and those I lead so we can continue our work together.¨
L. - executive director of a climate-related organization in the UK
