Stitched Stories (mixed media)
embroidered painted canvas comics

Stitched Stories Series

These are minimally-stitched comics made with square pieces torn from my abstract paintings. I embellish each scrap with embroidery and add a one-sentence story title. I keep my stitches spare (and imperfect!) and let the textures, colors, and words create the story.
