Uruguay Farm Photo #10: Mehari

Tom bought this 1974 Citroen Mehari.  It’s essentially a French Jeep made out of plastic.  Very utilitarian in that you can hose it out (it has holes in the floor) and haul stuff.  Far more luxurious than our neighbors’ horse-drawn wagons, scooters, and motorcycles, but not exactly weatherproof.  Or quiet.  Or fast.  Or comfortable.  But Tom is utterly thrilled with it.  I’m sure it will give me some stories to write about.
