Yesterday, my oldest daughter (Taeko) completed her master’s degree in urban public health. It’s been a big month for her:
she turned 23, resigned from her position as a family clinic supervisor on good terms (they paid for her master’s degree!), and got her dream job as a program director for a non-profit in her community. We’ll be celebrating tomorrow night with a big party on the roof of her apartment building in Washington Heights!

Wow, that’s awfully impressive. And at just 23!? Like mother, like daughter, I suppose. Congrats to you both!
That is great! Paid for even more amazing. I’m going into my 2nd year as a graduate student in Ecology and sometimes I feel there is no end in sight.
