My daughter just sent an email to give us an update on the professor strike at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, where she is a junior.
The strike started today (Monday). No classes. Half the student body has left campus. Those who are sticking around are baking cookies to bring to their striking professors who are pacing the campus wearing sandwich-board signs. Others are offering hot chocolate–or even beer. Wow.
